When do you want to regenerate ribbon metadata

Scenario:A button on command bar are hidden/Visible/Not Working when it should be visible/hidden/working.

First go to crm select the particular entity on which button are hidden/visible/Not working. Take the URL and at the last put &ribbondebug=true  for your reference please check the below screenshot.


Once you enter with command then "Command Checker" program button will be available.


To open the command checker just click on that. one command checker will appear then click on regenerates the metadata after that one conformation box will be open just click "OK".


Now. the question is how to check operation status whether is it started and completed?

Then go to the solution history and check whether the operation is started or not then after sometime operation will get completed.

Step 1: Create a new filed called "todaydate" with data type "Date and Time" and field type "Calculate".
